Free or Reduced-Price School Meals Available for CCSD Students
The Carroll Community School District wants to remind families that free or reduced-price school meals are available for eligible school-aged children.
The USDA’s school meal program provides an important resource for children every school day. These meals give children the healthy food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
There are various requirements to be eligible for free school meals, including:
Annual household income is $40,560 or less (for a family of four).
Household receives benefits such as EBT or cash assistance.
Child is in foster care, a child of migrant workers, or experiencing homelessness.
Child participates in the Head Start program.
Eligibility for Reduced-Price Meals
Children may qualify for reduced-price meals if the household's annual income is $57,720 or less (for a family of four).
For more information or to check your child’s eligibility, please contact the Food Service Department at (712) 792-8001.
